Patina Patina PatinaMiller took on the title role in Stephen Schwartz's 1972 Broadway production of "Pippin". Diane Paulus won the Tony Award in the 67th Annual Tony Awards for Best Revival of a Musical. "Pippin" was a musical featuring Matthew James Thomas with Andrea Martin, Terrence Man, Matthew James Thomas as well and directed by Diane Paulus. Patina put her own contemporary take on the award-winning Benjamin Vereen's part and managed to master the Fosse dance moves which are crucial in the production. Patina received a Tony Award for Best Performance by an actress in an Leading Role within a Musical.
